Apeldoorn

Apeldoorn is a city in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is the capital of the municipality of the same name. As of January 1, 2023, the city had 141,255 inhabitants. Since Ugchelen is officially considered part of the Apeldoorn Zuidwest district, the total population of the urban area is around 150,000. Apeldoorn only began developing into one of the larger cities in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 20th century. The municipality has a total of 169,119 inhabitants.
