SafeSpend is a product of De Wielick BV. De Wielick was co-founded by Cygnus Atratus. Cygnus Atratus has been developing software for accountancy since 2007.
In addition to the methodology for audit and compilation engagements, they developed Continuous Auditor. SafeSpend is also built on this widely used analysis platform.

Cygnus Atratus was founded in 2007 by Tom Koning, initially offering training services within the accountancy sector. Since then, its activities have expanded to include audit and compilation content, data analysis, and independent quality reviews. Today, more than 100 clients rely on the software, guidance, and financial analyses provided by Cygnus Atratus.

The Continuous Auditor was initially developed as a tool to assess, at any given moment, how up-to-date financial administrations are. Since then, it has evolved into a core application that plays a vital role in reducing peak workload periods, enhancing risk management for clients, and monitoring efficiency.
