SafeSpend is a product of De Wielick BV. De Wielick was co-founded by Cygnus Atratus. Since 2007, Cygnus Atratus has been developing software for the accountancy sector. In addition to creating methodologies for audit and compilation engagements, they have now developed the Continuous Auditor.

Cygnus Atratus was founded in 2007 by Tom Koning, initially offering training services within the accountancy sector. Since then, its activities have expanded to include audit and compilation content, data analysis, and independent quality reviews. Today, more than 100 clients rely on the software, guidance, and financial analyses provided by Cygnus Atratus.

The Continuous Auditor was initially developed as a tool to assess, at any given moment, how up-to-date financial administrations are. Since then, it has evolved into a core application that plays a vital role in reducing peak workload periods, enhancing risk management for clients, and monitoring efficiency. These are precisely the elements that are often missing in typical digitization processes.
