Blacklisting parties may be desirable when dealing with parties that engage in fraud. A frequently occurring new reason involves parties that invoice "no-show" costs for meetings where participants have generally not made any commitment to attend.

A party on the blacklist will receive an elevated risk score when the payment appears in the payment batch. In the example below, you can see that in the "score adjustment" column, a risk score of 10 is assigned. These parties can also be shared anonymously with other SafeSpend users. In this way, we protect each other against unnecessary damage and costs.

The first success with the new functionality within SafeSpend is already a reality, with "no-show" payments being prevented.
